Party Block Anthem

Caleigh Page / Senior / Martel

Congratulations! You are the lucky winner of an amazing vacation to Cali! Wait- I read that wrong. You’re the winner of something even
better- you hit the jackpot with CALEIGH Page as your advisor!! Born in Los Altos, CA, Caleigh is a senior majoring in Statistics and Sport
Management Analytics with a minor in Data Science; the only data problem she can’t solve is the infinite amount of reasons why she is the most
amazing, kind, and caring friend and advisor ever! While devoting lots of time to being a star athlete on the Rice Soccer team, Caleigh’s bubbly
and outgoing personality (and her high quality time management skills) make her a staple at Martel and the perfect person to talk to about
anything. If you bribe her with baked goods of any type, she’ll be sure to take you with her to explore Houston outside the hedges. Maybe she’ll
even share with you her delicious North Servery grilled cheese recipe! Quoting (kind of) the effervescent artist, L.M.F.A.O., “Caleigh Page
is in the house tonight, every new student gonna have a good O-Week.” A movie lover, puppy-obsessed Berne-Doodle dog mom, and Dallas
Cowboys fan (even though she’s from California…?), you are guaranteed to have an amazing O-Week with Caleigh Page as your advisor!!

Domonique Richardson/ Junior / Martel

Meet Domonique Richardson: the nicest, most well-dressed person at Rice! Lucky you, with Dom as your advisor, you’re in for a
spectacular year filled with laughter, Chipotle and spontaneous shopping trips to Urban Outfitters. From San Antonio, Texas, Dom is a
junior double majoring in Cognitive Science and Psychology. She’s a DJ for KTRU, Rice’s student-run radio station, and part of the Rice
Women’s Club Volleyball team. A lover of all things Glee and Timothée Chalamet, Dom is the kind of person to have long entertaining
conversations with. In her free time, you can find her trying out new Glossier products, rocking her various pairs of Doc Martens, or
in the Martel dance room coaching her suitemates on new Tik Tok dances. Dom is also an incredible food critic and knows where to
find the best matcha and açai bowls in town (P.S: ask her about her plans to start a new student-run business, what an entrepreneurial
queen!) With this kind, hilarious world-class human being as your advisor, you’re in for the best O-Week experience of your life!

Diego Casanova / Sophomore / Martel

Hey Martel! Meet Diego Casanova, the only man I would let use the phrase “You know what I’m saying” in every possible situation.
Although this rising sophomore may have questionable taste in memes, Diego is one of the goofiest people you’ll ever meet and sure to
make you laugh. In the daytime, you might find this Biological Sciences major and Neuroscience minor skateboarding around campus.
At night, he’s definitely ordering too much Dominoes and falling asleep before it arrives. When he’s not on that pre-med grind, Diego
also fixes bikes and designs ads as the Rice Bikes marketing manager. On weekends, he’s always in the mood to go out and explore
Houston although he insists that his hometown of Fort Worth is much better. He’s also a huge gamer and loves playing whatever
game with the boys. In all seriousness though, Diego is one of my favorite people in the world and makes me smile like no one else.

Oren Pazgal / Senior / Sid Richardson

Do you ever find yourself needing to take the Eigenvalues of an inverted Möbius Strip in order to solve time travel as part of an effort
to stop an inter-galactic supervillain from destroying the universe? Well good thing your advisor is Senior Oren Pazgal because
as a galaxy-brain CS/CAAM major he actually knows what all those words mean. Numbers aren’t the only things he is counting,
this three-year veteran of Sid Richardson’s 7th floor has been calculating parabolas since day one to rack up those W’s. Oren is also
super involved at Sid serving as O-Week coordinator, floor representative, as well as other general “BNOC” activities throughout
his time. It is easy to imagine he will take just as much pride in being part of Martel this year. And just when you thought this
guy could not get more well-rounded, he is a true Alge-bro making sure to always hit the gym and get those gains. Honestly the
only drawback to Oren’s character is how annoyingly determined he is to get good and beat me at Super Smash Bros. But don’t
worry soon enough he will give up, and instead channel all that passion into being the very best advisor, like no one ever was.
